CT SCAN (Chest or Abdomen)

A (Chest, Abdomen) computed tomography (CT or CAT) scan is a painless procedure that allows a doctor to see the inside of a patient’s chest/abdomen in a two-dimensional (2D) scan slice. It uses a combination of X-rays and a computer to create a detailed image of your organs, bones, blood vessels, and other tissues. It is also used to look at a tumour to prepare for an operation. It shows more detail than a regular X-ray.
