Full Blood Count (FBC)


A Full blood count is used to evaluate a patient’s overall health and detect a wide range of disorders including anaemia, infection and leukaemia. It gives information about the cells in a patient’s blood, such as the cell count for each blood cell type, the concentrations of haemoglobin and the platelets.
